Mike joined Brighton in 2004 bringing over 28 years of hospitality experience. His responsibilities include budgeting, financial reviews, brand compliance, guest service experience, and employee development and leadership. In addition, he manages every brand conversion, renovation, and new management contracts or acquisition changeovers.
Mike began his career at the Radisson Inn in Park City Utah, which sparked his passion for what would be his life long career. He began as a Food and Beverage Director, and quickly moved up to become the General Manager. He was awarded the Radisson Owner’s Award for “Most Improved Average Daily Rate”. After his service there, Mike continued to collect and hone his management skills at various luxury, full service, and select service hotels including the Guild Hotel Management, Red Lion Hotels and Inns, Starwood Hotels, Cavanaugh Hotels, and John Q Hammons Hotels. Michael is a people oriented hospitality leader who delivers financial results, outstanding customer service, and has a knack for building great hospitality teams.
